The Washington County Chamber Coalition & Washington County CDA have been holding very beneficial Workforce Summits every quarter for area businesses across the county.
The next event will take place here in Hugo on Tuesday April 23rd and HBA members are invited to attend! The meeting will take place at the Peder Pedersen Pavilion at Lions Volunteer Park; doors open at 8:00am & the event runs from 8:30am - Noon.

This is a ‘World Café’ event where businesses will have the opportunity to discuss 5 important business growth topics including:
- Marketing & Social Media – Discussion on ideas on how new tools for Marketing & Social Media have changed the landscape.
- Hiring & Retention – Discussion on how to improve hiring practices and employee engagement that improves retention.
- Sick, Safe & Leave Time – Discussion and ideas on how this new state policy is being implemented and impacting businesses.
- Managing Growth – Discussion and ideas on how to successfully manage growth, without overloading current operations.
- Managing Workflow – Discussion and ideas on addressing workflow issues that impact productivity
